Life Skills for Teenagers

Intending to provide learning that stays for a lifetime, Life Skills for teenagers is a course that will cultivate essential life skills in your teenager. Using unfamiliar and challenging environments, we provide a platform for teenagers to explore and learn.

Outward Bound Bharat introduces you to a course designed for your teenage children. In the 7-day expedition, we aim to make them competent to meet life's challenges in early adulthood. Activities during the course expose teenagers to situations where they learn to solve problems, develop critical thinking, become effective communicators, have enhanced interpersonal skills, and build empathy and compassion.

Who can Apply?

This course is for teenagers of the age group 13-19 years.

How will the course work for the teenagers?

Participants go through an orientation session at the beginning and are informed about the activities, experiences, and outcomes they will receive. The activities, purpose, and learning are thoroughly discussed to help participants understand their journey.

What would they be doing during the course?

A 7-day experiential learning program in the mountains that will help teenagers learn group dynamics and discover themselves. It develops the understanding of self, others, and situation. Learn the life skills necessary to shape their adult behaviour and connect with the people around them.

Activities teenagers would be participating in:

  • Camp in the mountains
  • Backpacking
  • Go on a nature trail
  • Orienteering
  • Bouldering
  • Interaction with the local community
  • Community work
  • Journaling
  • Solo: a session where they will introspect.

Program Locations

This program is conducted at three different locations during the year.

- Kulu / Manali region (H.P.). The participants are required to report at New Delhi.

- Nature Bound Sahyadri Campsite: Village Sunkasal (Karnataka): The participants are required to report at Hubli.

- Sahas Campsite near Nasik (Maharashtra). The participants are required to report at Nasik.

The organizers assit the participants tranfer to the respective campsite.

Vacations Details
