Bharat joined Outward Bound in 2006.
Remains passionate about adventure and loves wilderness.
He has done his Basic & Advance "Mountaineering" and "Water Sports" courses. He also had the opportunity to participate in a "21 Days Classic Challenge Course" at Outward Bound Singapore. He is a certified "First Aider".
Over the years with Outward Bound he has evolved as a "Hard Skills" trainer, developed himself as a "Facilitator" and has risen to become a very competent "Outdoor Leader". He has logged a number of "Wilderness programs" & also expeditions as the team leader. He has conducted “Trainers Training” courses for Outward Bound staff.
As an Outward Bounder he believes that an individual must contribute positively towards nation building, and this is possible by developing a strong personality, positive self-image and by nurturing good values. He leads his programs for Children & Youth with equal passion and commitment to give to them the best learning experience in the wilderness.
His other notable adventure participation includes:
- 433 Kms. "Wainganga River Sailing Expedition".
- 480 Kms. "Mumbai to Ratanagiri and Back Sea Sailing Expedition".
- 200 Kms. "Melghat Cycle Expedition".
- Silver Medal Performance at the “Life Saving Championship” at Kerala & Kolkata.
